What Are Fat Bombs?

Fats bombs are smaller portioned, high-fat foods typically consumed as a snack or dessert.  They are calorically dense and low in protein and Net Carbs.  Keto dieters use fat bombs as a way to satisfy cravings and supplement dietary fats without having to prepare additional meals.

Should I eat fat bombs?

Because they are Keto-friendly, fat bombs can be an effective way to curb cravings. But because they are calorically dense, you’ll want to be mindful of how many you’re eating.  They also tend to be rich in saturated fats since they’re often made with butter, cream cheese, and nut butters (like cacao butter). If possible, try to substitute plant-based for animal-based ingredients (i.e. coconut oil over butter).
