Fish or Shrimp Tacos


Tasty tacos for lunch or dinner. This recipe calls for Alaskan Cod, but it also works great with swordfish, salmon, or ahi tuna. Only 3 net carbs!

Ingredients

  • Alaskan Cod or shrimp- 4 oz – 0 Net Carbs (See photo below)
  • Chopped onion – 2 tbsp – 2 Net Carbs
  • Guacamole – 2 tbsp – 1 Net Carb
  • Sour Cream – 2 tbsp – 2 Net Carbs
  • Lettuce – 2 large leaves – 0 Net Carbs
  • Cilantro (optional) – 1 tbsp chopped – 0 Net Carbs
  • Cheese (optional) – 1 tbsp – 0 Net Carbs
  • Total – 3 Net Carbs

Directions

Step 1

Let Cod or shrimp defrost or defrost in microwave

Step 2

Cook the cod or shrimp on a hot stovetop pan (1-2 minutes per side depending on thickness)

Step 3

Combine ingredients on top of a lettuce leaf and enjoy!
